The Training Band rehearse on a Friday evening from 6:00pm until 7:10pm.

The band is a stepping stone to the Senior Band. They play a wide variety of music, most of which has been specially written for youth bands and is actually chosen by the band members themselves as we try to encourage them to take as active a role in the band as possible.

The Training band is headed up by John Roberts and there are also several senior band members that are actively involved in the group.  Tuition is given to all the members of the Training band and this also includes lessons on maintaining their instruments.
